Winter Wonderland in the Low Country
Snow on Folly beach was definitely not on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are! After grocery store shelves were cleared on Tuesday evening snow started to fall all around Charleston, South Carolina. Some may say it was a miracle and others are just ready for warmer weather. For me…. Well my husband and I decided it was time to see snow on the beach for the first time in our lives! This also meant a snowy surf session, duh! Not for me of course… I stayed on land, but for my husband and many other locals, a novelty session in the snow was a must. Whether surfing in the ocean or through King Street in downtown, Charleston natives sure made the most of the freezing weather! Now that the fun is over I think I speak for everyone in saying, bring on summer time!!
